About Me

I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT), EMDR-certified practitioner, and IFS-trained clinician, with additional training as a Yoga Teacher. With over 15 years of clinical experience—and valuable lived experience—I bring both depth and authenticity to my therapeutic work.

I integrate heart, science, and body wisdom into therapy.

My approach weaves together evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) with somatic tools like therapeutic yoga and breathwork. Because trauma and anxiety aren’t just “in the head”—they are carried in the whole system—healing must involve both mind and body.

I offer a warm, grounded space where trust can grow at your own pace. Whether you are carrying the weight of trauma, struggling with anxiety, or dealing with low self-worth, I provide compassionate support that sees all of you. My goal is to help you reconnect with your strength, resilience, and well-being through trauma-informed therapy and holistic mind-body approaches.

The Heart of My Work

Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. But what has always drawn me most deeply is supporting people carrying the impact of childhood and relational trauma.

Often, my clients underestimate their own resilience. They’ve survived so much, and yet they continue to show up. Recognising and nurturing that strength is at the heart of my work.

As my practice evolved, I naturally began to specialise in anxiety and trauma, which often go hand in hand—especially when early experiences have shaped how safe we feel in the world and within ourselves. Alongside childhood trauma, I also help people facing challenges such as excessive worry, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and chronic self-doubt. Beneath these struggles, there is usually a story that longs to be seen, understood, and gently reshaped.

My Therapeutic Approach

At Mind Growing Therapy, I believe that your voice matters. You are the expert in your own life, and I bring expertise in therapeutic approaches. Together, we create a partnership based on respect, collaboration, and tailoring the process to your individual needs.

My work combines both top-down and bottom-up approaches, creating a flexible and holistic path to healing. Traditional talking therapies, such as CBT, focus on making sense of your experiences and finding practical ways forward—a powerful top-down process where working with the mind supports healing in the body.

But talking alone isn’t always enough. Trauma and anxiety are often stored in the body, and despite understanding things logically, you may still feel stuck. This is where bottom-up methods become essential. Approaches such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems, breathwork, and mindful movement help regulate the nervous system and release pain held in the body. By reconnecting with your body and practicing grounding, you can process emotions, integrate past experiences, and create lasting change.

A Growth Mindset

At Mind Growing Therapy, I believe your past shapes you but doesn’t define you. With the right support and tools, change is always possible. Inspired by the Japanese art of kintsugi—where broken pottery is repaired with gold—I see healing as transformation. Our cracks don’t diminish us; they reveal our strength and beauty. Every step of your journey is met with compassion, understanding, and encouragement.
